This beautiful piece of jewellery was created in collaboration with the National Library of France and features an image of the Pegasus constellation.
It is made of recycled silver and set with zirconia stones. The figure comes with a 45 cm long chain, also made of recycled silver. The astronomer and Timurid prince Ulugh Beg (1394-1449) had the constellations and heavenly bodies described in the Parisian manuscript Al-Sufi’s Book of Fixed Stars illustrated in an extraordinary way. His codex contains 74 detailed and artistic miniatures.
One of these depictions shows the constellation of Pegasus, which serves as the model for this unique amulet.
